Our group has done much better in the forgotten age than carcossa, but I think that’s due to us having a better investigator line up.

Yeah interesting! I’m leaning a bit toward demon hunter at the moment. I haven’t really played them much and they seem like fun. I’ve played a little bit of necro, corpse lance is a great spell. I think my partner would be more into the summons, I don’t think managing the long cooldowns on the corpse lance builds would be her thing.

Ooh adding a cindercoat to the sweeper sounds like it would be really nice. I quite enjoyed the sweeping away all the baddies! Sweep sweep cleaning the dungeon back to a sparking shine. Don’t mind the blood.

It costs too much experience, costs too much to play, has too little ammo, takes both hands, and doesn even have consistent damage. With any other weapon as long as you hit you doing full damage, but with this thing you have to succeed by at least +2 in a test to even do more damage than punching it. Take a pretty standard 4 fight enemy vs a 4 combat investigator, with a shotgun any result from 2 and down is effectively useless, and a 1 result is the same as a machete could have done without costing so much and using half its ammo.
